Three brothers graduate together from the St Cyr military academy in Paris. From there they are sent to serve the Emperor Napoleon in very different theatres of war. One must serve in the invasion of Russia on Bonaparte’s staff. The next is to serve in a Line Regiment in the Peninsular War in Spain. Then the third is to serve in a diplomatic post in the USA, during the confusion of the War of 1812. War will change them all.
